1. Describe your featured media and how it will enhance the user’s life and experience.

My featured media is a Transparent Toaster. The whole idea around the toaster is so that your toast will never be burn again! Since the sides of the toaster are completely transparent you can see when your bread when it is toasting. There is no more guessing when it comes to the certain setting you have to put on your toaster.
The transportation will enhance the way you toast because you will be able to see your bread when its toasting and you will be able to see when you can take it out. Also, you won’t waste as much food from throwing out burnt toast anymore, so this helps our waste consumption for the planet. This device is very easy to use considering the only button on it is the on/off and setting switch. Also you can see what settings right for you when you use the toaster because you will be able to see it! This will help with the everyday life of the user because your toast will come out perfect every time. Using the transparent toaster is a fun way to cook food! You can see the toast cooking as you wait for your breakfast or snack.

2. Outline the elements this invention retrieves from past technologies

The elements this invention retrieves from past technologies are as follows. Since the idea of the toaster has been around for quite a while the same root technologies are still there, just the appearance and now the way of it being cooked is different. Obviously since the toaster is now transparent the technology and the way of it being cooked is way different from before.
Also jus the idea of cooking something not in an oven and in a short period of time is a common element that is repeated in this new technology. All they are doing is making it better and helping the toaster perform better and to it’s best.

3. State what this new media will obsolesce;

Since more and more people will want the ability to see what they are cooking, and more importantly toasting the need for regular toasters will be completely forgotten. This has happen throughout the years with toasters because newer and newer toasters have come out and more and people will not have a need for the old one.

4. Define what factors this invention will reverse when pushed .to its outer limit.
Even though this new innovation is quite inventive there are some drawbacks to it. The safety of the toaster is still unclear, how will you tell it’s on? Will you burn your hand when you go to get the toast. Also, if more than one thing starts to become transparent then more things will become transparent and soon enough our society will be totally see through.
